INFO:

Together with bantry bay productions, I created the title design and animated opening sequence for the 8-part Disney+ series Habibi Baba Boom.

The German culture-clash dramedy follows Sami, a German-Egyptian tax consultant from Bielefeld, whose life turns upside down after his partner Jette leaves him. While taking care of Isa, Jette’s teenage daughter who is passionately committed to environmental activism, Sami is determined to win Jette’s heart back, along with their shared shop “Tattoos & Taxes”.  To make ends meet, he also takes on a job at Suma’s restaurant, where only devout Muslims are employed.

For the project, I developed the visual identity of the series’ opening sequence, from concept to animation, ensuring a playful yet contemporary look that reflects the show’s mix of humor and heartfelt storytelling. In addition to the title design, I also delivered supporting graphic assets to round out the visual package.
